Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account?
AuraCheck uses Apple Sign-In, no password required. Open the app, tap "Continue with Apple", and follow the prompts. You'll then be asked to choose a username and select your campus Turf.
What is Aura and how is it calculated?
Aura is your all-time total of Fire reactions received across all your posts. It never resets. Your Aura determines your Tier: Rookie (0–49), Streetwear Scholar (50–199), Trendsetter (200–499), Hype Beast (500–999), and Aura God (1000+).
What is the Weekly Heat leaderboard?
Weekly Heat tracks Fire earned in the current 7-day window. It resets every Sunday at midnight. You can view the Global Arena leaderboard or filter to your campus Turf. Unlike Aura, your Weekly Heat score starts fresh each week.
How do I change my Turf (campus)?
Go to your Profile tab and tap the Turf badge below your username. You can switch between campus Turfs or set it to Global Arena at any time.
How do I report or block another user?
Tap the ··· button on any post in the Arena feed. You'll see options to Report or Block. Blocking hides that user's content from your feed immediately and prevents them from seeing yours. Reports are reviewed by the NovaBranch team.
How do I delete a post?
Go to your Profile tab and tap the − button on any of your posts. This permanently removes the post from the Arena and from your profile.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile tab → tap the trash icon in the top-left corner. You'll be asked to re-authenticate with Face ID to confirm. Once deleted, your account, posts, and all associated data are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. This satisfies Apple's account deletion requirement.
How do I turn off push notifications?
Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → AuraCheck and toggle off "Allow Notifications". You can also selectively disable banners, sounds, or badges.
Why does AuraCheck need camera access?
Camera and photo library access is required only to let you take or select a photo for your fit posts and profile picture. AuraCheck does not access your camera in the background. You can manage this permission in iOS Settings → Privacy → Camera → AuraCheck.
AuraCheck isn't loading: what do I do?
Try the following in order: (1) Check your internet connection. (2) Force-close the app and reopen it. (3) Restart your iPhone. (4) Check the App Store for a pending update. If the issue persists, email us at hello@novabranch.co with your iPhone model and iOS version.
