Who it is for

Built for Singapore’s adult educator pipeline

Whether you are preparing for formal assessment or developing your cohort’s teaching capability, MicroCoach provides the structure to rehearse with intent.

01

ACLP / WSQ Trainees

Preparing for your 12-minute assessed micro-teaching? Plan your segments, rehearse on camera, and receive criterion feedback before the real session.

02

Course Facilitators

Running a cohort of trainees? Guide them through structured rehearsals using a shared rubric, without writing their reflections for them.

03

Corporate Trainers

Developing on-the-job or executive trainers? Use MicroCoach as a pre-delivery rehearsal tool for structured, measurable improvement.

Features

From plan to post-session debrief

Six integrated capabilities, each designed around what adult educator assessments actually require.

Plan

Structured Session Plans

Build segment-by-segment plans with timing targets, learning outcomes, trainer and learner activities, and cut-down notes for time pressure. Export to PDF or share with a colleague.

Rehearse

Timed Rehearsal with Recording

A full-screen segment timer keeps you on track. Record on camera or run a timer-only session. Mark transitions in real time. Run assessment-day mode without recording.

Assess

AI Criterion Feedback

After each rehearsal, AI assigns Developing, Competent, or Proficient per rubric criterion — with specific timestamped evidence and one concrete action toward the next level.

Reflect

Guided Self-Reflection Journal

A reflection coach asks questions only — it never writes your reflection. Your journal is yours; the integrity of your assessed self-reflection is preserved.

Track

Progress Across Rehearsals

See how your timing accuracy, AI scores, and self-ratings change over time. Identify which criteria need the most work before your assessment date.

Peer

Structured Peer Feedback

Collect timestamped observations from peers in your cohort, locked behind Face ID when the device changes hands. Log feedback you gave others — required for Criterion 4.

How it works

Four steps from intention to improvement

1

Build your session plan

Create segments with time targets, learning outcomes, and your rubric criteria. Add cut-down notes for each segment in case you run short on time.

2

Rehearse on camera

A timed segment view keeps you on pace. Record on your iPhone or run timer-only. Tap to advance segments as you go. Your timing is logged precisely.

3

Review and get AI feedback

Watch back your recording. Tap Get AI Feedback — your speech is transcribed, then assessed against your rubric with criterion-level evidence.

4

Reflect, self-rate, and repeat

Write your reflection using the coach’s questions as prompts. Rate yourself per criterion. Collect peer observations. Rehearse again with clearer intent.

AI Feedback

Assessment-level feedback, not encouragement

MicroCoach assigns a level per rubric criterion based on observed evidence — the same framework your assessor uses. This is not a “nice job” summary. Transcription happens on device; only the resulting text is sent for feedback.

  • Developing / Competent / Proficient per criterion
  • Specific timestamped evidence from your session
  • One concrete step toward the next level
  • Learning outcome alignment check
  • Question type analysis — open, closed, follow-up
  • Talk time estimate — trainer vs. learner ratio
  • Transcription runs on device. Only the transcript text is sent for AI feedback — your audio and video never leave your phone.
Criterion Evidence — Example
Facilitation
“At 3:12, trainer directed questions at the whole group with no individual nomination, reducing peer-to-peer exchange.”
Developing
Communication
“Consistent eye contact and deliberate pausing after key concepts observed throughout. Learners engaged visibly at 5:40.”
Proficient
Constructive Alignment
“Learning outcome stated at 0:18. Activities in segments 2 and 3 directly addressed the outcome verb ‘apply’.”
Competent

Your recordings stay on your device

Plans, recordings, transcripts, and reflections are stored on your iPhone only. No account, no tracking. AI feedback sends only your transcript text — and only after you consent.
